The Birth Experience
You're pregnant! Congratulations! Its time to plan and dream about the new bundle coming into your life! I recommend reaching out as soon as you know that you want maternity photos! That gives us plenty of time to plan, try on gowns from my ever growing maternity dress collection, and find the perfect time and location for your photos. I generally schedule maternity sessions from 28-34 weeks, but that all depends on you and your baby! My goal is for you to feel beautiful, and to guide you so that you love your photos! Let's chat and get a plan going!

We've chatted, we've discussed pricing, we are a perfect fit! Now its time to book! I will send you a photography quote and agreement. You will pay your retainer fee and sign the agreement, and then your spot is secured on my schedule!
3. ask me Anything
You are on the schedule, now what?! I will be in touch as we approach your due date so that we can clarify any questions you have, and I will also send you a questionnaire so that I know we are both on the same page about your birth experience. And you are welcome to reach out at any time if you have questions or concerns! I will be on call beginning at your 39 week mark, or sooner if we have discussed that, and we will be in frequent contact as you approach your birth!
4. Delivery day!
It's your baby's birthday! Woohoo! You will be well prepped in what to do to keep me informed, but likely I will have your significant other contact me when labor begins and then keep me in the loop as you progress. I will arrive at your birthing location once you are in good active labor, and I will photograph all the details and the moment of the birth, as well as about an hour following the birth to capture all those sweet first moments!
5. your photographs
Within 2 weeks of your birth story session, you will receive your beautifully edited gallery as well as a slideshow. In the gallery will be all the best images from your session. I also offer an entire library of print and art option to optimize your beautiful images! After seeing your final images is when you can select any prints or products to purchase.
$1500
A retainer of $200 is due at the time of booking. This fee holds your spot on my calendar and includes the time and talent of the photographer (prep, shoot, and editing), the use of props and wardrobe, and the professional editing of your images. This fee is included in the total of your chosen collection after your session!

With birth photography, I know you are going to want to see all the details and special moments. I will include all of the best images from your session in a private online gallery, and I will also produce a beautiful slideshow of you birth experience.
Can you image yourself sitting with your sweet baby in your rocking chair and thumbing through a gorgeous hand crafted album of their birth while you tell them their story? I can. I have a plethora of beautiful options for how you can print and preserve your beautiful birth memories.
